2010 Chinese New Year falls on our LOVE Day, February 14th. What an excellent time to take on a new outlook with matters of the heart. Let us be inspired by the mighty and powerful feline in this Year of the TIGER…grrrr The alternating stripes of the Tiger represents a union of opposites- yin and yang, if you will. Yin is generally a receptive state and Yang, active. Often we tend to be to be unbalanced and lean to either extreme. Sure, this may be your personality but if it isn’t working for you it might be time to self reflect. Do you tend to speak when you should listen, pursue when you should stay still, give when you need to receive, or VICE VERSA?
Achieving a balance of yin and yang allows you to give and receive LOVE in a more meaningful way. If you don’t put balance back in your life you will have nothing to give anyone. Again…it all comes back to balance. Whether it’s romantic, platonic or self love you must have yin and yang harmony. It’s a new (lunar/Chinese) year, change it up and watch love bloom like never before.
